INSSIST

Overview

INSSIST is a Chrome extension that transforms Instagram.com into a full-featured desktop client for content creators, marketers, and businesses. It solves the problem of limited Instagram functionality on desktop by adding tools for downloading media, scheduling posts, managing followers, and growing accounts organically. Trusted by over 500,000 users, INSSIST operates directly within the Instagram web interface, avoiding API limitations that plague third-party tools like Hootsuite or Later.

Key Features

• Schedule Instagram Content: Users can plan posts, stories, and reels in advance using a visual content calendar. The scheduler supports bulk CSV uploads and time slot selection, enabling consistent posting without manual effort.
• Download Instagram Videos, Stories & Reels: INSSIST includes a built-in downloader that saves media from any public or private account the user follows. It supports bulk profile downloads, allowing entire collections of posts, stories, and highlights to be saved in one click.
• Growth Autopilot: The extension automates engagement actions such as liking, following, and commenting to attract real followers. Users can set targeting criteria and let the tool run on autopilot, with Pro plans delivering 300+ organic followers per month.
• Ghost Mode for Anonymous Viewing: Stories and DMs can be viewed without the account owner knowing. This privacy feature is useful for competitor research or personal browsing.
• Follower Tracker & Bot Detection: INSSIST tracks unfollowers, exports follower lists, and identifies bot or fake accounts. This helps users clean up their audience and improve engagement rates.
• Post to Instagram from Desktop: Users can upload photos, videos, carousels, and stories directly from their computer. The extension supports adding mentions, locations, custom links, music, and custom covers to stories and videos.
• Repost with Attribution: Content can be saved to a library and reposted with automatic credit to the original creator, simplifying content curation.

How It Works

After installing the Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store, users open Instagram.com and find the Assistant+ button on the side panel. No login is required to start using basic features. The extension integrates seamlessly into the Instagram interface, adding a toolbar for downloading, scheduling, and analytics. For scheduling, users select a post time from the calendar and the extension publishes automatically. The growth module runs in the background, performing actions based on user-defined settings. Pro and Lifetime plans are activated by logging into an INSSIST account within the extension.

Use Cases

• A solo content creator managing a personal brand can schedule a week of posts in advance, download inspiration from competitors, and track unfollowers to maintain an engaged audience.
• A social media manager at a mid-size agency handling multiple client accounts can use the growth autopilot to attract followers for each client, repost user-generated content with attribution, and export follower lists for analysis.
• An e-commerce business can schedule product launches and promotions, view stories anonymously to monitor competitors, and use DM templates to respond to customer inquiries quickly.
• A marketing team can bulk download entire Instagram profiles for competitive research, analyze hashtag performance with metrics and collections, and schedule posts during peak engagement times.

Who It's For

INSSIST is designed for Instagram creators, influencers, small businesses, and marketing agencies who need desktop access to Instagram features that are typically mobile-only. It competes with tools like Hootsuite, Later, and Buffer but differentiates itself by working directly within Instagram.com as a browser extension, avoiding API restrictions and account reconnection issues. The product offers a free tier with essential features, a Pro subscription at $14.50/month, and a Lifetime plan at $145 one-time, making it accessible to both casual users and professionals.
